The scientific advisory board includes world-class gastroenterologists primarily based in Boston and leading MIT computer vision and machine learning researchers and faculty.
Job Description: Iterative Scopes is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineering intern/co-op for the summer of 2020. This is a rare opportunity to learn about what it takes to produce an FDA-approved medical device that performs real-time inference to assist doctors in live procedures. In this role you will help manage and develop features for a web application written in React with Typescript as well as deploy various backend services written in Python and managed within our AWS infrastructure. You will work directly with all members of our engineering team in architecting new system components, documenting and testing your code, and acquiring intimate knowledge of how the data pipeline for a machine learning powered product scales, all within a structured, FDA-compliant Agile environment. The internship/co-op begins 06/01/2020 and runs between period of 10-24 weeks with opportunities for long-term employment. The company is expected to work towards major milestones next summer which will make for an exciting, rewarding time with us.
Basic familiarity with the Unix command line
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
Familiarity with a modern JS framework (React, Angular, Ember, etc.)
Cloud experience (AWS is a huge plus)
Basic SQL experience
Rising junior/senior or recent graduate
