About the Role

Job Description:

We are growing our team and looking to add an enthusiastic, results driven Associate Director of Clinical Partnerships to drive execution on a new strategic partnership. The Associate Director will oversee the daily operations of one of the Provation/Iterative Scopes partnership service lines. This includes activities ranging from internal project oversight, to supporting operations at key sites, and managing partner relationships. 

The Associate Director will work closely with leaders across Iterative Scopes to help define the tools needed to support this service line and design service roll out with the ultimate objective of removing barriers to entry and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your work will directly impact the success of this high-potential, early-stage service line. 

Additionally, the Associate Director will work closely with key internal stakeholders, such as the Director of Data Services, to support all data acquisition pipeline components of site management and operations. Based in Cambridge, the Associate Director will report to the VP Clinical Operations and will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams within Iterative Scopes and third-party service providers to deliver results for this rapidly scaling service line.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Intellectually curious

  • 5+ years relevant experience (ie business/operations management, project management, consulting)

  • Detail oriented with a strong project management skill set.

  • Highly proficient with analytical tools (Excel a must, SQL a plus) and various communications formats (PowerPoint, Word)

  • Track record of leading/managing multiple concurrent projects in a highly cross-functional environment.

  • Problem solving skills: using data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews to identify hypotheses and support decisions.

  • Comfort with “getting into the weeds” and working through the details as a manager-doer.

  • Ownership mindset and a bias for action, with a high bar for quality and motivation to take on challenges associated with launching a new service line, even in areas that may not be directly under responsibility.

  • Scrappy attitude and comfort with ambiguous complex problems.

  • Excellent interpersonal skill including senior presence, able to clearly and consistently communicate to and partner with a broad range of senior leaders to achieve objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Design and implement a roadmap of operational and business initiatives related to the service line and be responsible for execution e.g., process improvements, customer experience changes, and training.

  • Own operational KPIs for third party sites and customers.

  • Grow a team with the necessary skill sets to support this service line and ensure on time delivery.

  • Manage a portfolio of sites involved in the service line as well as third party service vendors as needed.

  • Collaborate across departments to drive business goals.

  • Engage with external partners in a professional manner.

  • Track and complete projects as well as related tasks and activities, including documenting project reports, schedules, budgets, and other pertinent records.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, senior leadership, vendors and stakeholders in order to act as an effective liaison between all parties.

  • Learn and understand the motivations, needs and road-blockers of various stakeholders involved in each project.

  • In addition to the above, this role is responsible for: scheduling meetings, coordinating conference calls, preparing meeting presentation materials, maintaining records of meeting minutes, and tracking key action items and decisions.

  • Travel required (~20-30%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment or in delivering against ambitious targets & goals in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.

  • Healthcare sector experience a plus but not required.

  • Experience reading contracts, drafting statements of work, scoping SOPs and managing budgets.

  • Graduate degree in related field
