We are looking for a dynamic Chief of Staff to support the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the company. You will be the right hand to the CEO – monitoring progress on key initiatives throughout the company, supporting key action items to completion and identifying and unblocking areas of risk. You would be responsible for keeping the CEO appraised of key initiatives, projects and jumping in to move things forward whenever appropriate. The right person for this role will be creative, passionate, extraordinarily organized and have the ability to influence and manage wide-scale projects.

This newly created and highly visible position will support and partner with our CEO and the Iterative Scopes leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of organizational objectives; via the effective definition of strategy, timely operational implementation by the leadership team and effective interaction and communication with leadership to influence business strategy.

This role will partner with key stakeholders across the entire organization at the senior leadership level. The Chief of Staff will also support and interface with the Iterative Scopes Board of Directors and Scientific Advisory Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and preparation of CEO for key internal meetings; and proactive management of the interfaces (senior leadership team and core functions) to enhance communication, execution and delivery.

  • Direct and manage a broad range of projects to help ensure organizational effectiveness and attainment of strategic priorities consistent with the long-range plan by building and applying comprehensive understanding of all core business functions.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to support and lead change efforts.

  • Manage overall communication across the business to ensure appropriate timing and delivery of key objectives.

  • Track key initiatives by monitoring progress towards meeting goals, ensuring follow-through on the part of relevant players and sustaining momentum needed to drive these initiatives.

  • Directly prepare CEO for upcoming management meetings, internal (eg. Town Hall, Board of Director, Management meetings) and external meetings, including that of partner meetings with clients as well as investor presentations.

  • Define key messages to be cascaded across the organization as appropriate.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • You dive head first into accepting diverse and challenging assignments with rigor, intellectual curiosity and tenacity.

  • You consistently find connections between seemingly unrelated concepts.

  • You are able to take an idea or problem that may not necessarily have a defined home within the organization, and go figure it out with little to no direction.

  • You have the ability to build a sphere of influence at all levels.

  • You identify operational gaps, plug the holes, and just make things work.

  • You are innovative, resourceful and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
