About the Role
The Clinical Research Project Manager is accountable for owning overall clinical research project success from start to finish across research collaborations with leading academic medical centers and ambulatory surgical centers.
This position is primarily operational in nature and serves to manage relationships with the site and partner stakeholders to ensure successful project kick-off and management throughout. The project manager will also play a dynamic role in scoping out new collaboration opportunities, interfacing cross-functionally to define priorities and needs, and interface with partners to ensure objective-driven research collaborations. The project manager will interface internally will keep their finger on the pulse of the overall project and be able to build and coordinate a project team
Work closely with the internal team to review, analyze, understand, and define the high-level project requirements: Objectives, Scope, Schedule, Milestones
Work closely with site level teams including Investigator’s, research staff, and support offices to plan and execute research projects
Develop key project elements including research protocols, project budgets and agreements, and essential study documents
Represent Iterative Scopes externally with partners and conduct business at all times with a high degree of professionalism, competency and ethics
Accurately forecast, plan, report and manage on projects to ensure timely project forecasting and cost
Proactively manage and resolve issues to minimize crises and escalations. Engage the appropriate internal team members when needed to help resolve issues with the site or external stakeholders
Educate the sites and external stakeholders regarding the various steps in the project and ascertain what their expectations are of the internal team. Communicate those expectations back to the internal team
Facilitate the status review of the projects, budget and schedules as well as developing processes and tools for monitoring project progress and for delivering real-time program dashboards
Contribute to development and execution of project strategies within and across multi-line teams and work with subject matter experts within the organization in evaluating different strategies to help direct the team to a successful outcome or deliverable
Support development and delivery of the communication plan to ensure effective and timely communication with the sites
Promote a continuous improvement culture to streamline appropriate processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
