About the Role
We are growing our team and looking to add an enthusiastic and mission driven Head of People to help grow the company. The Head of People is a high stakes role that will be in a unique position to help the company grow its culture, scale the business (double / triple in headcount size) and take care of its employees. Responsibilities include: 1) manage the organizational structure and supporting the growth of a (soon to be) 70-100 employee business 2) be the thought leader and implement policies regarding employee promotion, compensation, and performance improvement and 3) ensuring that talent retention and employee engagement is a priority for the company as it continues to grow.
The Head of People will work closely with leaders across Iterative Scopes and be instrumental in the successful growth of the business. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in leveraging their past people and organizational processes skills to bring a well-funded and growing medical device company to the next stage.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Interested in developing people strategies, processes and policies that also align with the company’s growth and business objectives
Desire to establish company culture and leverage culture and people strategies to maintain employee morale
Ability to advocate for ideas and build consensus on new policies / procedures
Track record of leading/managing multiple concurrent projects (in a highly cross-functional environment
Excellent interpersonal skill, able to clearly and consistently communicate with all members of the company
6+ years or more experience in HR role
3+ years of leadership experience
Possess experience in a Series A stage start-up that grew aggressively
Experience with successfully addressing employee issues and problems
Ability to work independently, attention to detail and organization skills
Experience working in a medical technology start up
Experience working in venture backed start-up that doubled in size within a 6-month period
