About the Role

Job Description:

As a QA Engineer, you will be expected to serve in a cross-functional role liaising between Software Engineering, Data Science and Operations. You will be responsible for setting up QA processes and automation infrastructure from the ground up of an FDA-regulated product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting a new standard and process for software validation.

  • Develop and implement manual and automated test cases, test plans, and test specifications.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a successful, high-quality on-time release.

  • Work with developers to make sure we’re designing for testability and maintenance.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in automating and maintaining test automation frameworks.

  • Proficiency with API test design.

  • Proficiency with web UI automation design.

  • Extensive experience with test automation (e.g., selenium), test tools (e.g., postman, SoapUI) and scripting languages (e.g., python, JS).

  • Experience in working with AWS environment.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and processes.

  • Well-versed in modern application development practices (e.g., Scrum).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Passionate about improving the global healthcare system and saving lives.

  • Deep understanding of SQA methodologies and practices.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.

  • Excited about working with products powered by state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. in computer engineering, computer science, or similar discipline.

  • Experience building QA infrastructure from the ground up.

  • Experience in the Healthcare domain.

  • Experience in Windows UI automation design (e.g., eggplant, Micro Focus UFT).

  • Experience with automated testing of serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda) and end-to-end data services.

  • Experience with Load/Performance test (e.g., Jmeter, Loadrunner)

  • Experience with System monitoring

  • Writing Data-driven test framework
