About the Role

Job Description:

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with previous engineering experience, to join the growing Iterative Scopes team to help us realize our vision to revolutionize the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases with computer vision. You will be responsible for shepherding the development of high-performance, scalable distributed services for our data pipeline. Familiarity with healthcare tech or AI/ML is a plus, but ability to speak fluently with engineers and stakeholders is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Propose innovative solutions to enable unprecedented scale and automation in a well-defined user feature roadmap

  2. Work with engineering tech leads as well as AI/ML scientists and engineers to build a technical roadmap

  3. Coordinate with operations leads to ensure an operations team roadmap that anticipates and leverages the new user features

  4. Drive prioritization consensus across business teams and serve as an effective liaison between stakeholders and engineering

  5. Work closely with the engineering organization through design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of our services to ensure quality and successful delivery

  6. Balance business needs versus technical decisions and constraints

  7. Ensure backlog is groomed and epics / stories are sufficiently detailed for development

  8. Set priorities for the development team

  9. Work with engineering team to resolve bottlenecks to help deliver final system deliverables

  10. Coordinate activities with cross functional teams for initiatives that are cross functional in nature

  11. Review and report on progress for initiatives/projects, managing project risks - including the development of contingency plans

  12. Own the final system deliverables and the overall roadmap for your area of responsibility

  13. Measure, report and continuously improve scrum team's effectiveness via mentoring and coachingPA reports on an electronic QMS system.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. 5+ years of technical or product development experience

  2. 2+ years of experience working with modern web technologies

  3. Technical savvy, including hands-on knowledge/skill of system integration, databases and business intelligence

  4. Previous experience with applications of AI/ML methods

  5. Experience in healthcare and/or machine learning

  6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate optimally and expertly with users, team members and leads.

  7. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

  8. Self starter with bias toward delivery and business outcomes

  9. Strong decision making and prioritization skills

  10. Aptitude for understanding, digesting, and analyzing sophisticated systems integrations

  11. Agile experience (Scrum Master, Product Owner)

  12. Ability to perform business requirements analysis and design

  13. Exceptional team player skills, follows up with team members and stakeholders, and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problems

  14. Capability to identify and mitigate development and implementation risks

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Fast learner and a team player

  2. Understanding of product management best practices, including agile development environments

  3. The ability to get things done, and deal with ambiguity

  4. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a business environment

  5. Demonstrated success at driving innovation using analytical and quantitative capabilities

  6. Position may require occasional travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience as a software engineer in industry

  2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

  3. Experience with CI/CD processes and release management

  4. Proven track record of delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment

  5. Experience in an entrepreneurial environment where goals are often ambitious, and the environment evolves rapidly.

  6. Ability to tell the story of the value that is currently in your backlog or roadmap.

  7. Confidence and experience presenting to all audiences
