The scientific advisory board includes world-class gastroenterologists primarily based in Boston and leading MIT computer vision and machine learning researchers and faculty.
We are growing our team and looking to add an enthusiastic, detailed oriented Senior Accountant to help grow the company. The Senior Accountant will help oversee Iterative Scopes’ day to day accounting activities and assist with budget creation and monitoring.
Completing monthly closes and reporting high level summaries to management
Managing the company’s yearly audits and tax filings
Designing and overseeing a new process for the tracking of AP/AR.
The HR Recruiting Specialist will work closely with leaders across Iterative Scopes to help define and monitor projected spend and budgets.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in building up their corporate accounting skill set and is looking for a hands-on experience with the ability to grow into a controller position. Additional responsibilities could involve setting up an ERP system and eventually building out a team to support the company’s activities.
Skills & Requirements:
3+ years experience with public or corporate accounting
Advanced level understanding of revenue recognition rules
Knowledge of corporate accounting best practices and familiarity with ERP systems
Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and organization skills
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Interested in setting up the accounting and financial infrastructure for a fast-growing and revenue earning startup
Ambition to take on additional projects and grow responsibilities / ownership over time
Track record of leading/managing multiple concurrent projects (with different deadlines) in a highly cross-functional environment
Excellent interpersonal skill, able to clearly and consistently communicate with senior leaders of the company
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Experience with ERP implementation
Experience working in accounting for healthcare technology (software) companies
Experience working in a rapidly growing startup
